We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Physiotherapy Apprentice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our experienced physiotherapists to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of intervention plans aimed at helping clients to maintain and regain independence in functional abilities and promoting clients safety through the participation in everyday occupation.
- Work under the supervision of a qualified occupational therapist to provide a client-centred occupational therapy service to a defined caseload of service users with complex needs.
- Support the occupational therapist in the development of intervention plans and provide feedback on the effectiveness of these plans.
- Participate in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- Three GCSE passes at grade C / grade 4 or above including Maths, English, and Science, or equivalent* level 2 functional skills.
- 112 UCAS points from A levels (including at least 40 points from either a natural science subject such as Biology or Human biology, or a social science subject such as Psychology, Sociology, Health and Social Care), or equivalent BTEC National qualifications (including suitable natural or social science modules).
- Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in health studies, health science, nursing or another science-based course.
- Previous experience in a care setting and evidence of understanding of Occupational Therapy.
