Job Description

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Technician to join our team at Andretti Cadillac. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mechanical, minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Building Systems: Monitor and inspect building systems to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to facility-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Facility Setup and Teardown: Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and materials for projects.
  • Maintenance Records: Maintain and update facility maintenance records and documentation.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for facility improvements.
  • Training and Development: Participate in meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and systems.
  • Skills: Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks in various trade areas, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Tools and Equipment: Proficient in using tools and equipment related to facility maintenance.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
