About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Dementia Adviser to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a valued member of our team, you will provide dementia knowledge and expertise to those affected by the condition.
The ideal candidate will be able to travel independently across the Milton Keynes area and have excellent non-judgmental communication skills. They will also have an understanding of client confidentiality and be able to assess client needs effectively.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Offer vital information, guidance, and support to those affected by dementia
- Provide dementia support face-to-face, by telephone, and online
- Manage referrals and assist clients in assessing their information and support needs
- Facilitate face-to-face group services for people affected by dementia
- Develop a proactive approach in reaching people with dementia and carers who may not otherwise access our services
About You
We are looking for an exceptional individual with an ability to deliver advice and guidance to those with memory loss, dementia, and the needs of those affected by these conditions. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with health, adult social care, and third sector colleagues and have good IT skills and experience working with patient or client databases.
