About the Role

Flagship Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care and promoting independence in our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough therapy screenings and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life
  • Provide daily treatment sessions, including exercises, activities, and education to promote resident engagement and progress
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of resident progress, including billing and documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • State licensure to practice occupational therapy in the state where services will be provided
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
