Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough therapy screenings and evaluations
  • Provide daily treatment sessions tailored to individual needs
  • Accurately document patient progress and billing information using Net Health (formerly Optima HCS)
  • Develop comprehensive discharge plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
  • State License to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate care to senior residents
