Job Summary

Flagship Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care to our senior residents. Your primary responsibilities will include therapy screening, evaluations, daily treatment sessions, billing, and documentation, as well as discharge planning and supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough therapy screenings and evaluations to identify residents' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality daily treatment sessions to residents, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Manage billing and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement discharge plans that meet residents' needs and goals.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure quality care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • State licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
