Change Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join a specialist manufacturing business based in Weston-super-Mare. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for the site's financial reporting and offering strategic and budgetary support.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the accounting function, including mentoring a small team
- Prepare and present weekly financial reports and monthly management accounts to the senior management team, providing analysis and commentary
- Lead the annual budgeting process and future strategic development of the business
- Contribute to the year-end audit process and liaise with the company auditors
- Ensure all regulatory reporting to statutory bodies is completed
- Monitor gross margins and contributions, focusing on optimizing sales mix
- Manage working capital, with a focus on inventory, credit management, and cash flow
- Generate financial information to highlight profit potential and inefficiencies
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with experience in a manufacturing environment
- Commercially focused finance expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
