Rolls-Royce Submarines is currently expanding its operations and opening a new office in Cardiff. We're looking for a skilled Performance Engineering Opportunities- Submarines specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing propulsion systems, enhancing hydrodynamic performance, and integrating cutting-edge sonar and acoustic technologies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement simulation models, ensuring our submarines achieve peak performance and stealth. As part of our expanding Submarines business, you'll have the opportunity to work on various projects, including capability acquisition, new product introduction, and in-service product support design solutions.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, plus bonus and exceptional benefits. These include employee support assistance and employee discounts. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in nuclear and mechanical analysis methodologies, as well as design codes and tools.

You'll need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. We'll support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality.
