HR/Recruitment Specialist

Office Angels is seeking a highly skilled and organized HR/Recruitment Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment process, managing employee data, and providing administrative support to the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and manage new joiner paperwork, including offer letters, contracts, and acceptance/rejection emails.
- Continuously improve HR admin processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Approve employee personal detail changes through the HR system.
- Draft reference letters and support HR Advisors and Managers with drafting paperwork for employee lifecycle changes.
- Respond to employee queries and provide administrative support in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate work experience students and interns, and update other departments of new starters and leavers.
- Request and chase references for new joiners, and provide admin support in application and coordination of airside passes and relevant training.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required, including notetaking for employee relation meetings and HR meetings.
- Arrange meetings, room bookings, and travel arrangements for Directors and teams.
- Produce reports and data analysis for the HR Director.
- Print, scan, and file documents as needed.
- Coordinate pre-employment and right to work checks for new joiners.
- Set up user accounts on HR and internal systems, and update details as necessary.
- Coordinate and distribute the weekly new joiners and leavers email.
- Support the coordination and delivery of company inductions.
- Maintain e-files for employee paperwork, ensuring files are set up in line with start dates.
- Leaver administration, including drafting leaver letters and completing termination forms.
- Archiving leaver e-files and hard copy files.
- Provide administrative support on annual HR processes, such as appraisals, promotions, and salary reviews.
- Manage front of house and telephones twice a week.
- Graduate with HR assistance experience essential, ideally CIPD full or part qualified.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Pro-active approach.
- Friendly customer focus and strong interpersonal skills.
- Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion.
- Excellent and proven Excel skills.
- Flexible and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
