Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional graduate with strong analytical skills and passion for energy policy to join our dynamic regulation team as an Energy Policy Graduate. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop within an ambitious organisation focused on supporting societies drive to achieve significant renewable and decarbonisation targets for 2030 and beyond.

About the Role

The successful candidate will embark on a structured two-year training programme within our regulation department, learning directly alongside energy industry experts. You will gain experience in regulatory, policy, and market-related issues in renewables, generation, and wholesale markets. Our graduates quickly become subject matter experts, influencing energy policy and market developments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop knowledge of energy policy and market-related issues in renewables, generation, and wholesale markets
  2. Gain experience in regulatory, policy, and market-related areas through a comprehensive induction and varied development programme
  3. Become a subject matter expert, helping to influence energy policy and market developments
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in a discipline with high analytical content, including Law, Finance, Economics, or STEM subjects by September 2025
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working individually and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
