Job Title: Energy Efficiency Specialist

Location: Belfast

Reporting to: Contract Manager

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of a robust energy efficiency programme in line with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard.

• Maintain compliance with UK and European legislation, including the UK Emissions Trading Scheme, Climate Change Agreements, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting, and Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme.

• Provide energy awareness workshops to all departments as required.

• Attend Environmental Working Groups to review energy performance and prepare supporting information.

• Offer various energy and water reports, including monthly consumption and spend versus budget, energy efficiency projects, and compliance.

Skills and Experience:

• Essential Criteria: x years of post-qualification engineering experience in a regulated environment.

• Desired Qualifications: NEBOSH level and safety qualifications.

• Desired Experience: Strong and sustainable relationships with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.

• Desired Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
