About the Job
CE Back Office is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in South Cheshire. This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and fast-paced role, where you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll of multiple client payrolls.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations. They should also have experience with Excel, including the use of formulas, v look-ups, and pivot tables. Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage payroll inbox and respond to queries from HR, Managers, Employees, Third Party Suppliers.
  • Prepare payroll imports and changes on time and upload them to the payroll system.
  • To review payroll data including manual checks, NMW compliance, and prepare sign-off reports.
  • Prepare and upload third-party reports.
  • To ensure payroll compliance.
  • To complete annual payroll tasks including year-end processing, P11D submissions, and PSA reporting.
  • Generating reports as required.

Knowledge Requirements:
  • Understand and complete manual payroll calculations.
  • Payroll regulations including ITEPTA, Pension regulations, WTR, and AWR.
  • Data Protection.
  • NMW.
  • Knowledge of and calculations of statutory payments.
  • Understand and administer employee benefits and expenses.
  • Understanding of termination and redundancy payments along with effective management of earnings for NI and Tax purposes.
  • Understanding of pension schemes including salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Understanding of Directors NI.
  • Understanding of SIP schemes and LTIPs.
