Job Overview

Aspire People Limited is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team in a specialist all-through school in the Telford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to pupils with SEMH needs, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs, utilising restorative approaches to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive change.
* Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and emotional resilience, contributing to the overall ethos and values of the school.
* Ensure an inclusive and positive learning environment for pupils to thrive in, working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:
* Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs or similar challenges.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing behaviour, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, social work, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
