About the Role

Flooid Ltd. is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide strategic and operational legal support to the company, working closely with the General Counsel: EMEA and the Sales and Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the company on a wide range of matters, including software and IT contracts, professional services, and third-party partnerships.
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements, including Master Agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Requests.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel: EMEA and the Sales and Account Executives to ensure effective negotiation of contracts and the onboarding of new business.
  • Support the drafting and implementation of Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the business, including GDPR, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001.
Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor and admitted to practice law in the United Kingdom.
  • 4 years + relevant in-house or industry experience.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Requests, Professional Services Agreements, SaaS and Subscription Agreements.
  • Experience working with third parties (distributors, subcontractors etc.) and referral agreements.
  • Previous exposure to multi-jurisdictional and cross-border international contracts.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic in-house IT environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales with the ability to prioritize accordingly.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Proactive and energetic with a positive attitude.
