Cardiac Physiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist Specialist to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced consultants and support the Cardiology Manager in delivering high standards of cardiology care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiology Ward, and Outpatient Cardiology Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective and efficient cardiology services with high standards of care
  • Perform a range of routine diagnostic procedures, including specialized procedures
  • Prepare operating Cardiac catheter theatre/outpatient cardiology suite for procedures
  • Contribute to Cardiology clinical governance and risk management
  • Deputize for the manager as an advanced practitioner
  • Support all cardiology functions within the hospital
  • Comply with Spire policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, COSSH, and Data Protection Act
  • Embed Clinical Governance and risk management in daily practice

Requirements:

BSc Cardiac Physiology or equivalent

  • BHRS or IBHRE accreditation required for unsupervised work as a competent Physiologist
  • Ability and experience to cover complex invasive and non-invasive procedures
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Cardiology for direct and high-quality care
  • Specialist areas of work: Complex device therapy and/or EPS, ILS
