About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a 4-year-old boy with a genetic condition affecting his sensory, airway, and feeding systems. You will be responsible for providing bespoke care and support to enable him to stabilise at home and achieve his personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Provide education and training to family members and carers on complex care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to complex care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the last 2 years in complex care
  • Recent experience in deep suctioning, mechanical cough assist, care of peg-J, percussion/vibrations, and administration of medication including buccal
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
