Job Description:

Core Linux Engineer - Quant Trading

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Automation Expert to join our team at Quant Capital. As a key member of our Linux engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our proprietary trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated solutions for our trading systems using Linux and programming languages such as C, Python, and Go.
  • Collaborate with our team of talented Linux engineers, admins, and programmers to improve and build a best-in-class platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our technology stack, including in-house and open-source components.
  • Work closely with our team to identify areas for automation and implement solutions to reduce human error.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux and programming concepts, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in STEM education, ideally Computer Science.
  • Deep and fundamental knowledge of operating systems, predominantly Linux.
  • Experience with Linux systems design, networking protocols, and programming languages such as C, Python, and Go.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team of skilled engineers.
