About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Automation Specialist to join our high-profile client's team. As a Linux Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of our complex proprietary trading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions using Linux and programming languages such as C, Python, and Go.
- Develop and maintain Linux systems and infrastructure to support our trading platforms.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automation solutions with our trading systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and Linux systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux and programming technologies to ensure our systems remain secure and efficient.
Requirements:
- Strong background in STEM education, ideally Computer Science.
- Deep and fundamental knowledge of operating systems, predominantly Linux.
- Experience with modern Linux and programming concepts, including C, sockets, virtual memory, and networking protocols.
- Solid experience with Linux systems design and implementation.
- Understanding of programming languages, including Go, Python, Rust, Julia, Java, C++, Scala, and Haskell.
