Core Linux Engineer – Quant Trading

Quant Capital is seeking a highly skilled Core Linux Engineer to join our team.

We are a leading quantitative trading firm, liquidity provider, and market maker operating globally. Our technology is a mix of in-house and open-source solutions, allowing for deep customization and innovation.

Automation is key to our success, and we automate as much as possible to minimize human error. Our team is passionate about automation and believes it should be enjoyable.

You will need:

  • Strong background in STEM education, preferably Computer Science
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux
  • Fluency in command-line interfaces and shell scripting
  • Comfort with modern Linux and programming concepts, such as C, sockets, and virtual memory
  • Solid experience in Linux systems design
  • Ability to analyze technical problems clearly and concisely
  • Understanding of networking protocols
  • Excellent debugging skills using tools like gdp, perf, DTrace, and SystemsTap
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Python, Rust, Julia, Java, C++, Scala, or Haskell
