About the Role

Pertemps Birmingham Industrial has an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Tamworth. This permanent role is key to supporting the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HSE Policies: Create and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices across the organization.
  • Align HSE Strategies with Business Objectives: Ensure that health, safety, and environmental strategies are aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends and Legislation: Stay informed about the latest industry trends and legislation, and adjust company policies as necessary.
  • Conduct Regular Risk Assessments, Audits, and Inspections: Regularly assess and mitigate risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate Incidents and Ensure Preventative Measures: Investigate incidents and implement measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Manage Waste Reduction and Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce waste and promote sustainability.
  • Monitor Data and KPIs to Track Improvements in HSE Performance: Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure improvements in health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Provide Training and Mentorship to Staff on HSE Practices: Provide training and mentorship to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Lead Emergency Response Planning and Drills: Develop and lead emergency response planning and drills to ensure a safe and effective response to emergencies.

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum.
