Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in palliative care, you will work across both community and hospital settings to provide expert advice and input.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead further service development and research in palliative care. You will collaborate closely with existing consultants to deliver responsive and effective palliative care services.

The successful candidate will have a passion for enhancing and facilitating high-quality care for terminally ill patients across our locality. With a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, you will contribute to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.

Benefits

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary package, including a generous compensation offer. This role comes with a salary estimated to be around £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you may need to pay for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, with costs deducted from your salary following appointment.

Applicants are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service at a small annual fee of £13 per year.
