About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead Arty-Folks through its next phase of growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to drive the organisation's mission and vision forward.

The CEO will work closely with the Board of Trustees to articulate a clear and compelling vision for growth, and will be responsible for communicating effectively between the Board and the team to ensure daily activities align with the organisation's strategic plan and key performance indicators (KPIs).

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership experience, with a proven ability to create plans, budget, and manage financial controls. They will also have demonstrable success in fundraising and experience working in a similar sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive the organisation's mission and vision forward
  • Work closely with the Board of Trustees to articulate a clear and compelling vision for growth
  • Communicate effectively between the Board and the team to ensure daily activities align with the organisation's strategic plan and KPIs
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of the organisation's infrastructure, including technology, facilities, and human resources
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective funders
  • Build capacity by recruiting top talents as Trustees, staff or volunteers, offering training and support to equip them with the skills needed and to develop their leadership skills
What We Offer
  • Annual Holiday - 29 days including statutory holidays (pro rata)
  • Probationary Period - 6 months
  • Rate of pay - £40,000 per annum pro rata (£24,000 for 3 days/wk)
  • The company has a pension scheme with NEST

The CEO will be supported by and work alongside our Artistic Director who will be stepping down from her current CEO role.

Employment with Arty-Folks will be subject to the following checks prior to a start date:

  • A satisfactory police record check to include an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Receipt of satisfactory references
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
