Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Propulsion Subsystem requirements
  • Support in the analyses for the propulsion subsystem
  • Support for satellite propulsion AIV activities
  • Definition of propulsion tests plan, specifications, setup and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience in propulsion test planning and execution
  • Experience with fluidic/pressurized test equipment, methods, and guidelines
  • Experience with safety-related issues of propulsive/pressurized development and testing, also involving hazardous materials such as flammable gasses and oxidizers
  • Analytical and modelling skills
  • Knowledge of propulsion subsystems for in-space applications
  • Familiarity with procedure definition and management
  • The capability of autonomous working
  • Previous knowledge in acquisition systems and data processing
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, C, Matlab, others)
  • Knowledge of CAD modelling software
  • Familiarity with ECSS Standards
  • Familiarity with EcosimPro-PROOSIS
  • Familiarity with safety measures for propulsion subsystems
Education and Experience:
  • Advanced University Degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Aerospace/Space Engineering or similar
  • Work experience of 3 years in space/aeronautical industries
Language:
  • Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of Italian is a plus
