Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Undergraduate Education Manager to join our dynamic team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist medical education professional to work closely with education leads and support undergraduate education provision across our multi-site trust.
As a member of our senior education team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality medical education services in line with Imperial College, Brunel Medical School, and national standards. Your key responsibilities will include planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional teaching activities, induction, and skills training for medical students from Imperial College School of Medicine and medical and PA students from Brunel Medical School.
You will provide specialist knowledge and advice on undergraduate medical education matters for all medical and PA students and undergraduate and PA lead clinicians in the Trust. Your role will also involve ensuring excellent and effective communications with a range of professionals and organisations to ensure education objectives and strategies are fulfilled.
About the Role
This is a key role within our education team, and you will work closely with the Director of Clinical Studies and Director of Undergraduate Education to support the development and management of undergraduate education. You will also be responsible for ensuring the implementation of robust systems for the ongoing evaluation of teaching programmes and the updating of clinical skills of healthcare professionals within the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for undergraduate medical education services across the organisation, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional teaching activities.
- Provide specialist knowledge and advice on undergraduate medical education matters for all medical and PA students and undergraduate and PA lead clinicians in the Trust.
- Ensure excellent and effective communications with a range of professionals and organisations to ensure education objectives and strategies are fulfilled.
- Support the development and management of undergraduate education, working closely with the Director of Clinical Studies and Director of Undergraduate Education.
