The Admissions, Recruitment, and Enrolment unit at the Beedie School of Business provides strategic enrolment leadership and management to the faculty while offering guidance to prospective students throughout their journey from recruitment to enrolment.
Led by the Director of Recruitment and Enrolment, the team collaborates closely with the Associate Dean, Central Services, and other departments to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for applicants.
We focus on recruiting a diverse student body from the local area while continuously improving our admissions processes and practices.
Our student-centered approach emphasizes strong relationships, collaboration, and thoughtful communication to help students and their supporters determine if the Beedie School of Business undergraduate program is the right choice for them.
Job Description
The Director, Recruitment and Enrollment provides overall direction and strategic leadership for all aspects of recruitment, admissions, and strategic enrollment management for the Beedie School of Business Undergraduate Business Program.
This position develops, evaluates, and maintains admissions processes and practices within the school to ensure high standards of admissions assessment are achieved.
The Director collaborates with the supervisor in long-term planning to define the goals and objectives of the unit.
The Director, Recruitment and Enrollment participates in the development and implementation of all prospective marketing and communications initiatives for Undergraduate Business Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and evaluates effective business processes, rules, policies, and procedures
- Develops, plans, manages, and implements strategies for the recruitment of qualified Undergraduate students from local, national, and international markets
- Participates in long-term planning to define the goals and objectives of the unit
Qualifications and Requirements
A Master's degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline and four years of related experience, including experience in admissions, academic program planning, development, and operations; marketing; communications; and student recruitment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
