About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Lead at Achieving for Children, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Practice Learning and Principal Social Worker in coordinating quality and performance reviews across Early Help and Children's Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing core auditing programs to ensure high-quality services
  • Conducting deep dives and table top reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with the intelligence service to analyze patterns and themes emerging across practice
About You

To be successful as a Quality Assurance Lead, you must be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. You should have:

  • Educated to degree level in social work with a proven track record of continuing professional development and registration with Social Work England
  • Certification in coaching or mentoring or experience in training professionals
  • Management experience in children's social care with a strong ability to apply various practice models and tools
  • Deep knowledge of legislation, statutory frameworks, and national policy related to children, young people, and families
  • Strong understanding of key challenges in children's social care with experience in using research and evidence to inform decisions
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, 29 days annual leave (increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years), local government salary and pension scheme, flexible working options, and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program.
