About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our Capital Expenditure programme, you will provide commercial support across all facias, project types, and support the production of feasibility estimates and commercial assistance at initial concept design to assist development appraisals across UK & EU new store and refit programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake global reporting of monthly cost reports and monthly cashflows
  • Maintain and refine the commercial/contractual suite of documentation
  • Work with internal stakeholders and Cost Management team to manage the cost model as requirements change
  • Collaborate with external teams of QS' on multiple projects
  • Hold a QS position previously, with retail experience within refits and new store development, and EU exposure
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Cost Management
  • Sound knowledge of legal and contractual frameworks
  • Experience of all RIBA stages of the design process from conception through to delivery
  • Understanding of Retail Construction, Building Regulations, and Compliance
  • High level of financial appraisal skill and keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of shop-fit standards, details, and construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and trouble shoot during a project
  • Good leadership skills with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and reprioritise efficiently
  • Self-starter able to work under own initiative
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel globally when required
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Chartered membership of a construction-related professional body – RICS – Preferred
