We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at a leading manufacturer of speciality chemicals in Northwest Birmingham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and controls, with a minimum higher qualification related to the role.

The role offers a full lifecycle project management experience, incorporating various duties such as design, installation, commissioning, and modification. The candidate will work with various instrumentation such as level, flow, temperature, pressure, mass instrumentation, PLC controllers, safety instrumented systems & intrinsic safety etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of H&S/HSE requirements + understanding of DSEAR/ATEX regulations, and be able to conceptualise and design instrumentation projects through the use of CAD. They will also be responsible for carrying out modifications and updating relevant records, creation/updating of drawings and diagrams, and continuous improvement activities and planned maintenance.

The company offers a competitive salary up to GBP 50,000, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Life Assurance, Sick Pay, and a Stakeholder Pension scheme.
