Instrument Project Engineer - Chemicals Manufacturer

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Project Engineer to join our client, a leading chemicals manufacturer in the West Midlands. As an Instrument Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life-cycle management of chemical plant instrumentation projects, from conceptualization to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full life-cycle of chemical plant instrumentation projects, including conceptualization, design, and commissioning.
  • Develop and implement instrumentation projects, including the creation of instrumentation drawings and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
Requirements:
  • Recognized Instrument apprenticeship and educated to HNC level as a minimum.
  • Several years' experience with the management of instrumentation projects as a minimum.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and control systems.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
