Job Title: Apprentice C&I Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with a strong background in instrumentation and controls to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum 'Higher' qualification (HNC / HND, Degree) related to the role and demonstrable experience in a similar position with clear project-based knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualise and design instrumentation projects using CAD software.
  • Carry out modifications and updating of relevant records following the change-management system.
  • Creation and updating of drawings and diagrams, including loop drawings, P&ID's, I/O lists, equipment schedules, and network diagrams.
  • Continuous Improvement activities and Planned Maintenance.
Requirements:
  • A strong background and in-depth knowledge of instrumentation relating to the chemical manufacturing process or related industrial processes.
  • A minimum 'Higher' qualification (HNC / HND, Degree) related to the role.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with clear project-based knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S / HSE requirements and understanding of DSEAR/ATEX regulations.
  • Attention to detail and clear communication skills.
