Web Application Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Web Application Specialist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining web applications that drive high-quality patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing cutting-edge digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of our healthcare professionals and patients. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our web applications are scalable, secure, and meet the highest standards of quality. We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including: excellent NHS pension scheme, generous maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, options for flexible working, up to 27 days annual leave (increasing with service up to 33 days), extensive health and wellbeing support and resources, lease car if you complete more than 500 business miles per annum, fully insured and maintained, mileage paid at lease car rate, salary sacrifice car, fully insured and maintained, your gross pay is reduced by the cost of the vehicle before tax, NI, and pension deductions are calculated, mileage paid at business rates, salary sacrifice bikes up to £2k, free car parking at all trust sites, and free flu vaccinations every year. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using .NET, MVC, Blazor, C#, and other relevant technologies. You will also implement user interfaces using React, JavaScript, CSS, LESS, SASS, Tailwind, and other associated technologies. Additionally, you will participate in peer reviews and manage pull requests to ensure code quality and consistency. Furthermore, you will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and support the Application Development team to ensure projects are completed within scope and on time. To be successful in this role, you will need: a degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field, strong programming skills, with experience in .NET, MVC, Blazor, C#, and other relevant technologies, excellent understanding of systems analysis and design methodologies, ability to analyse complex user requirements when designing/configuring software, deliver robust system and unit testing, ability to analyse, investigate, and resolve complex IT queries.
