Estates Surveyor

Job Details
We are seeking a qualified surveyor to join our Estates Team within Property Services. As a general practice surveyor, you will be responsible for undertaking asset valuations, general valuations of Council property assets, and a wide range of other professional duties.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of commercial valuation and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of customer care. You should hold a property-related degree-level qualification and be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with Registered Valuer status.
The role requires someone who is enthusiastic, committed, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and pressures.
The Person
- RICS Membership with Registered Valuer status
- Experience in commercial asset valuation and leasing commercial properties, property development, valuation, disposals, and acquisitions
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and pressures
- Strong team working skills
