About the Role:

Brightsmith | B Corp™ is seeking a highly skilled Hydrogen Business Development Manager to lead our hydrogen and CCUS business in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of commercial frameworks for green hydrogen projects, working on multiple projects, and structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for green hydrogen projects.
  • Work closely with our team to identify project opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Support the negotiation of commercial agreements, including joint venture structures, power, water supply agreements, hydrogen distribution, and hydrogen sales.
  • Collaborate with our wider teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Travel to customer sites to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong understanding of the hydrogen industry and its commercial aspects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
