Compliance and Contracts Senior Manager

Job SummaryThe Compliance and Contracts Senior Manager for UK & Ireland will play a critical role in providing local contracting support and developing an effective compliance framework to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and codes of practice.
Key Responsibilities- Apply UK/IE codes of practice, laws, and regulations, including Data Protection, Conflict of Interest, Antifraud/Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Competition Law, Charitable Contributions, Pharmacovigilance, and Employment Law.
- Partner with Global Legal and External Counsel to manage local queries, including contracting reviews and negotiations.
- Deploy and deliver training, awareness, and educational programs to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Maintain, update, and communicate key processes, SOPs, policies, and FMV frameworks.
- Regularly communicate with the company and provide ad-hoc briefings on compliance matters.
- Manage CAPA activities, including training, improvement activities, and deviation management.
- Approve UK/IE promotional and non-promotional materials and activities.
- Review and approve cross-border activities impacting UK/Ireland HCPs/HCOs.
- Monitor compliance with the compliance plan and deliver timely and accurate disclosure reporting as necessary under UK/IE Transparency regulations.
- Partner with the global data protection officer to fulfill UK legal requirements for local data protection, including managing consents, contracts, data sharing agreements, training, and awareness.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Proven and relevant experience in compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong business partnering skills with a solution-focused mindset and ability to drive outcomes.
- Ability to evaluate risk and support informed decision-making.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, with hands-on experience in project and launch management, planning, negotiation, initiative, and critical thinking.
- Ability to consult, negotiate, and facilitate decision-making processes.
- A team player with strong networking, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Detailed working knowledge and understanding of the ABPI/IPHA Code of Practice and similar regulations.
- Knowledge of risk management, audits, monitoring, and data protection.
- Ability to coordinate between internal and external legal support to formulate the most appropriate legal advice and direction.
