About the Job

OpenAI is looking for a talented Fraud Detection Specialist to join our Fraud & Risk team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and preventing fraudulent activities on our platforms. Your expertise in risk evaluation, fraud detection, and trust & safety will enable you to design and implement effective systems to prevent and detect fraudulent behavior.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar field and possess excellent problem-solving skills. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure safety and compliance on our platforms, handle high-risk cases with care, and build feedback loops to improve our fraud investigations/detection policies and systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with Product, Legal, Safety, Operations, and Vendor teams to develop and implement ongoing fraud and risk processes or specific campaigns.
  • Conduct risk evaluations and investigations by reviewing documentation, internal data, and 3rd party data.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging trends and threats in the field of fraud and risk.
