We are looking for a Senior Fraud Prevention Specialist to join our team at Nationwide, the world's largest building society. As a Senior Fraud Prevention Specialist, you will play a key role in helping us prevent and detect fraud and scams across our portfolio.

Job Description

This is a 12-month fixed term contract position that requires a strong background in data analysis and a passion for fighting financial crime. You will be working closely with our Fraud Analytics function to build technical queries in SAS/SQL/Python and represent our team in the wider business and within the industry.

Nationwide offers a hybrid working approach, which means you will have the flexibility to work from home or in the office, depending on your needs. We value our time in the office to solve problems, learn, and feel connected.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and detect fraud and scams
  • Work closely with our Fraud Analytics function to identify areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement new policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on fraud prevention and detection
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in fraud prevention and detection

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
