Process Improvement Strategist

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Strategist to lead our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of the green energy revolution.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising procurement & supply chain processes, with a focus on SRM implementation. They will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance supplier engagement, streamline procurement activities, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of the new SRM system, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance enhancements.
  • Provide strategic guidance on supplier relationship management, ensuring continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to monitor SRM performance and drive accountability across the supply chain.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence within the supply chain function.

Desired Background:

  • A strong background in supply chain management, with a proven track record of leading process improvements and system implementations.
  • Experience with SRM systems or similar technologies, and a passion for leveraging digital solutions to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • A forward-thinking mindset, capable of identifying growth opportunities and implementing scalable solutions in an evolving function.
  • Ideally, experience in the renewable energy or energy sectors, but this is not essential.
  • MUST HAVE EXISTING RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
