Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our team at HMP Erlestoke. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care services and specialist interventions for offenders.

About the Role
This senior nursing position involves providing high-quality clinical care within the Integrated Healthcare Service for the prison. You will be responsible for maintaining an effective case management service to ensure care and continuity of treatment are maintained throughout a patient care pathway while detained in prison.
You will also be required to implement strategies designed to promote and improve health and prevent disease while in prison. Additionally, you will support junior colleagues and ensure systems are in place for clinical supervision to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality clinical care within the Integrated Healthcare Service for the prison
* Maintain an effective case management service to ensure care and continuity of treatment
* Implement strategies to promote and improve health and prevent disease while in prison
* Support junior colleagues and provide clinical supervision
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
* A Postgraduate Qualification or equivalent experience
* Minimum of two years' experience at Band 5
* Working knowledge of current issues/agendas facing prison/offender healthcare
* Experience of multi-professional collaboration including working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organisations
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, presenting ideas with clarity in a persuasive and influential style
