About The Role

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electronic assemblies in the manufacture of small wind turbines. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will work closely with our electrical department to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical and electronic components into finished assemblies, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and inspection of assemblies, documenting results as required.
  • Pack and prepare finished goods for dispatch, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Kit and sort components for manufacture, streamlining production processes.
  • Perform tasks in other areas of the business as needed, including mechanical and composites departments.
  • Work in compliance with our Quality Management System, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean and tidy, suitable for visitors and inspections.
Working Hours

The role is based on a 40-hour week, with standard hours from Monday to Thursday, 06:30-16:30. Two weeks are banked, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

Location

The role is based at our Q-Park facility in South Woodchester, with the possibility of relocation to an alternative site within reasonable commuting distance.

Requirements
  • Experience in a production environment, preferably with electrical assembly skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety protocols in a factory setting.
  • Ability to work safely with live voltages and electrical equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work in various roles across the factory as needed.
