We are seeking a highly skilled Property Services Manager to lead and deliver exceptional property services for a well-established, customer-focused housing provider in Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Property Services: Ensure the delivery of responsive and cyclical maintenance services, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee Health and Safety: Monitor health and safety compliance, contractor management, and the cost-effective delivery of works.
- Manage Budgets: Work with the finance team to manage budgets, explore funding opportunities, and ensure procurement delivers value for money.
- Lead on Stock Condition Surveys: Conduct stock condition surveys and prepare lifecycle and business planning.
- Ensure Data Management: Accurately manage and report data across all property services.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning around property services and attend relevant board and committee meetings.
- Experience: Significant experience in property management or building services, with at least 5 years in a customer-focused environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage building safety, compliance, and repairs.
- Financial Management: Proven experience in managing budgets, delivering cost-effective solutions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Team Management: Experience managing or working alongside teams, contractors, and other service providers.
- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications and/or significant experience in a property services role.
- Financial Management: Financial and budget management experience.
- Health and Safety: A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- IT Skills: Strong IT and data management skills, with experience using property management software.
- Driving License: A full driving license and the ability to travel across Cornwall.
