Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support to teachers and students, ensuring a productive and effective learning environment.

About Us

Our school is one of seven primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve, and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom support, assisting with lesson planning, and contributing to the development of teaching materials. You will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, providing individualized support to students as needed. Your expertise in educational theory and practice will enable you to make a meaningful contribution to our school community.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Level 2 qualification in Learning Assistance or equivalent. You should also have experience working in a classroom setting, with a proven track record of supporting students with varying needs. Additionally, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from £18,406 to £24,404 per annum (dependent on experience).
