Bamboo Fundraising Recruitment is excited to partner with Spread a Smile to find a Head of Development and Partnerships who can drive their fundraising efforts forward and help them reach their £1.9 million target.

Spread a Smile is a charity that transforms hospital stays into magical experiences for seriously ill children. They're looking for a seasoned fundraiser who can develop and execute a multi-channel fundraising strategy, leading a team of five dedicated professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to connect with donors and stakeholders effectively. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for philanthropy, this could be your dream role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel fundraising strategy that spans corporate, individual, and community giving.
  • Inspire and lead a team of five, fostering their growth and ensuring exceptional results.
  • Build and nurture relationships with donors, supporters, and partners, ensuring they stay connected to our mission.
  • Take ownership of financial planning and reporting, ensuring they're on track to hit their £1.9m target.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities align with best practices, compliance standards, and the high ethical standards their donors expect.

About You:

  • You bring 5+ years' experience in fundraising management, with a track record of delivering ambitious results.
  • Ideally, you have corporate fundraising expertise.
  • You possess a proven ability to inspire and lead teams, fostering both individual and collective success.
  • You have expertise in building relationships, managing budgets, and driving impactful strategies.
  • You excel in communication and networking skills, paired with an innovative, self-motivated spirit.
