About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our transportation division, you will be responsible for coordinating work with other contractors and Network Rail. This role requires strong engineering expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We have a number of upcoming opportunities for project engineers in various disciplines, including civils/structural engineering, telecoms, signaling, electrification, and plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate work with other contractors and Network Rail to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Participate in all engineering and development assurance activities to ensure schemes are affordable, meet programme requirements, and are safe and environmentally responsible.
  • Review compliance with appropriate standards, use risk ID and evaluation methods, and assure the preparation of the full engineering assurance package.

Requirements

  • Chartered engineer (preferably IStructE) with a relevant engineering degree (BSc/BEng or equivalent) and minimum 5 years general relevant experience.
  • Able to undertake the NR/L2/RSE/02009 role of Project Engineer (PE).
  • Sound understanding of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) 2015 regulations and common safety method (CSM) 2013 regulations.
