About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Colas Rail. As a key member of our infrastructure monitoring contract in Scotland, you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance support for our freight vehicles while developing a broad range of engineering skills and competencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake scheduled maintenance activities in our major depot.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on locomotives and rolling stock.
  • Assess and test rail freight assets and components to ensure they meet required levels.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness at work sites and operating environments.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Full UK driving licence.
