Job Description:
As a Finance Manager, you will lead the finance department, ensuring smooth daily operations and overseeing a team of 3. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing monthly management accounts. You will also coordinate tax/year-end auditing processes, manage financial risks, and conduct reviews for cost-reduction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the finance department and ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Designing and delivering financial planning and analysis processes
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislations
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns
  • Coordinating tax/year-end auditing processes
  • Managing financial risks and conducting reviews for cost-reduction opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in accounting or a related field
  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified or QBE
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and management skills
  • Previous experience in distribution is advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel ability
