The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Finance Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and overseeing a team of 3. Key responsibilities include financial planning and analysis processes, including forecast and budget processes for the sites. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislations, preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns, and coordinating tax/year end auditing processes.
A degree in accounting or related field is required, along with ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification or QBE experience. Strong analytical, decision-making, and management skills are essential, as well as previous experience in distribution, which is advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel ability and experience running a business from a financial perspective are also highly desirable.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £50,000 to 70,000 depending on experience.
