Salary

£42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Finance Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and overseeing a team of 3.
  • Design and deliver financial planning and analysis processes, including forecasting and budget processes for the sites.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns, and coordinate tax/year-end auditing processes.
  • Manage financial risks of the company.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Develop financial policies and procedures.
  • Involvement with Payroll and HR-related duties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in accounting or a related field.
  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified or QBE.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and management skills.
  • Previous experience in distribution is advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel ability.
