Research Liaison Officer

About the Role
The University of Essex is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Liaison Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our survey programs, working closely with the Participant Liaison team to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and letters from survey participants
- Work with the Communication and Survey teams to review participant communications
- Record contact detail changes in the database and inform the sub-contracted fieldwork company as needed
- Perform other administrative duties, such as recording form content and printing/despatching personalized responses
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C (or equivalent) and experience in an office-based customer service role. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Arrangements
This is a fixed-term position for 24 months to cover a period of increased workload for the team. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 0.6 FTE (21.6 hours per week) and will be expected to be flexible in their working hours.
