Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Gynaecology Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care to patients in our outpatients department.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities will include participating in hysteroscopy, gynaecological outpatients, rapid access, colposcopy, and urogynaecology clinics. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective communication, delivering a high-quality service to patients and their relatives.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration. Adult Branch
  • Recognised Mentorship Course or willingness to undertake

Experience & Knowledge

  • A working knowledge of the use or research in developing nursing care and clinical products
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of the issues surrounding the scope of professional practice and accountability

Skills

  • Experience as a qualified nurse
  • Possess a high standard of communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be able to effectively co-ordinate workload and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • To show enthusiasm to develop new innovations and skills to enhance practice
  • To possess good inter-personal skills
