Job Title: Specialist Support Worker

About the Role:

Talent Finder is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Support Worker to join our team. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will work closely with twins, providing support and care to enable them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support and care to twins, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work closely with the twins' family, particularly their father, to ensure a smooth and effective support plan.
  • Communicate effectively with the twins using British Sign Language, with full training provided for the right candidate.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, taking into account the twins' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and healthcare workers, to ensure comprehensive support for the twins.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Previous experience working with young adults with autism, with a commitment to their learning and development.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development, including intensive interaction, PECs, TEACCH, and British Sign Language.
  • Experience in personal care and ability to provide emotional support.
